For those that prefer flats

I happened to overhear a young woman who was tall and what I would call a "skinny mini" mention that she doesn't like wearing heels. I personally love to wear heels but for all the tall ladies out there who may share her sentiments I recently purchased a pair of Tory Burch ballet flats which I've been wearing almost everyday since I got them. Black patent leather was my choice because of versatility as they dress up jeans and I can wear them when I'm traveling for work but they can also be found in suede and leather in various colors.

Some may think they're too expensive at $195 but I don't mind spending a bit more on shoes because of my large feet, I'm a size 11 and not all designers even make shoes above a 10. Trust me I looked around for something less expensive that I would like and be comfortable in but I didn't really find anything I loved, and if I don't LOVE something I don't see the point in buying it.

My Love of Ella Moss Tees

Even with designers making tees longer these days, some are still not the length I would love them to be. Ella Moss makes tees I love to live in, they are soft, well fitting, great for layering, and long enough for my low rise jeans coming in around 26" from my shoulders.

Some of you may balk at the price, they go for around $60 but they are well worth it and last. When I can find them on sale I stock up but even when I can't I don't mind forking over the cash for a comfortable, well fitting tee that I can wear all the time. Besides, they are made in the U.S.A. and in a world where most of my clothes are made overseas I feel patriotic just wearing them.

My new favorite jeans

J Brand Jeans - If you're 6' and love to wear 3+ inch heels these are for you!! I would guess they are 36-38" inseam and they are great if you have curves. I first read about them in InStyle. The spread was about celebrities and their favorite brands, Laura Prepon from That 70's Show and October Road mentioned them as one of her favorites. And now they're one of mine!! Whether bell bottom or skinny they fit great and have the length I'm always looking for.
